1.Santhosh – “Better Sleep, Less Weight, and Greater Vitality”
I’m a data scientist and a PhD by trade. I track my sleep readiness score with my Oura ring. I suffer from sleep apnea, but I feel like I’m sleeping better now. This week, my readiness score averaged 86. Last 12 month’s average was 75. That’s more than 2 standard deviations! That’s data-based evidence right there.
I think the most important thing I’ve received is the compassion from everyone here at Bodhi Meditation. I really feel like that alone is a blessing. And so many other benefits– I lost 7.5lbs in 8 days! I used to get neck pain, but that’s gone. I feel more light and energetic. Overall, it’s just been a phenomenal experience.

2. Prasiddha – “Meditation: A Journey to an Open Heart”
I’m an astrophysics scientist, and I use telescopes to study the stars. Recently I have been feeling very low on energy. I can hardly take care of both work and my family. My sleep was frequently interrupted by my 1.5-year-old toddler needing care throughout the night. I felt very tired, and quite depressed.
After finding Bodhi Meditation on Google, I first tried a 30-minute meditation session and felt really good. So, I made childcare arrangements and decided to give the happiness retreat a shot.
I had a very profound experience during energy healing, where I felt like something very negative was taken away from me. I could detect the changes in myself day by day. For the first few days, I felt very heavy. But during the last few days of the retreat, even doing 1.5 hrs of GI [the Meditation of Greater Illumination], I still felt great. I came with a lot of tiredness and I feel these 8 days have lifted it all out of me. I feel so well rested and energetic even with fewer hours of sleep.
I tried to keep an open mind and not analyze too much. As a result I was able to open my heart. The medicine Buddha chanting meditation was a really powerful experience for me. My heart has really been opened up. I feel so much lighter! It’s just amazing!
This one week – I feel like there’s been a complete flip in my thoughts about myself, my family, and everyone around me.

3. Steven – “Dizziness Decreased, Worries Released”
Recently, I have had vertigo. I felt dizzy, and might lose my balance when I walk. But during this 8-Day Health & Happiness Retreat, I feel a strong surge of energy. I also feel that my mind is so clear, and my balance is much better. I can walk better without swaying. Also, my sleep is now very good. Beyond that, I’ve been improving in letting go of my many worries and mundane concerns. I really, really appreciate everything. With deep gratitude, thank you very much Grandmaster! 4.David – “The Miracle of Being Freed from Years of Pain and Illness”
✅Years of overwork caused health problems
I am a chef with 35 years of experience. After coming to the U.S., I have worked in various industries. Now I manage three restaurants. Years of hard work have taken a toll on my body: I developed high blood pressure, severe insomnia, and chronic pains of many kinds.
✅Body detox on the first day
In the evening after the first day of the 8-Day Health & Happiness Retreat, I felt as if a washing machine were churning in my stomach. I rushed to the restroom five times, and didn’t settle down until 3 AM. I thought for sure I wouldn’t be able to get up the next day. To my surprise, when I woke up in the morning, I felt relaxed and full of energy. That’s when I realized this might have been a detox process. After that, I clearly felt my body getting lighter and better each day.
✅Best sleep in years on the 6th Day
On the 6th day of the retreat, after receiving an energy healing in the retreat, that very night I slept for 6 straight hours — the best sleep I’ve had in 16 years. In the past, I often needed medication to fall asleep, and even then I would wake up after just 1 or 2 hours. Sometimes I could fall back asleep, but at other times I would stay awake until nearly dawn. Even if I fall asleep, my sleep is often disturbed by many dreams. That day, I didn’t take any medicine at all, yet I slept deeply and soundly for 6 hours, dream-free. I was truly overjoyed, and I’ve already started planning to attend the next Bodhi Meditation retreat!
✅Right leg can bend on the 8th day
4 years ago, I fell from a ladder. My right leg got caught on the rungs, which dislocated my knee — the kneecap shifted to the side. I had to lie in bed for 3 months before I could barely walk again. Since then I’ve kept up with exercises, but I have never fully recovered. On the first day of this retreat, I needed to slowly sit down on four stacked meditation cushions and I couldn’t fold my right leg — I had to keep it stretched out. To my amazement, after only 7 days, I could sit down on only 1 cushion, and I could even sit cross-legged! Grandmaster JinBodhi’s Bodhi Meditation method is truly incredible!

5.Mrs Wei – “Regaining Mobility in My Late 80s”
I’m almost 90 years old. A few months ago, I had stomach surgery. Lately, I’ve been feeling cold and fatigued. When I walked, my legs felt like they were made of lead, and I could barely take a step.
When I practiced the Greater Illumination meditation in class, my hands went numb and my body felt very warm. While practicing the Wheel Mudra, I felt fire in my abdomen and started sweating a lot. I had never felt anything like this before, and I was amazed.
Now my legs are not as stiff, and I’ve regained much of my mobility. I’m committed to practicing the Greater Illumination, and I hope my health keeps improving.

6.HaiYing – “Pain from Fractured Bone Reduced, Restful Sleep Restored”
Six weeks ago, I had a serious fall and fractured a bone in my right forearm. My arm was put in a cast and was very painful, so I completely lost the use of my right hand. I had to rely entirely on my left hand for daily life. During the first two days of the Health and Happiness Retreat, my right arm was swollen and sore. But as the retreat went on, my arm improved. By the seventh day, not only was the pain reduced, but I was even able to use my right arm to help my left hand with tasks.
Even more amazing was the change in my sleep. I used to go to bed after midnight and often woke up in the middle of the night. During the retreat, I was able to fall asleep by 10 p.m. and sleep through the night until morning. The quality of my sleep was excellent.
This retreat has truly brought many positive changes to both my physical and mental health
