- Maggie: She Used to Worry Herself Sick Over Her Three Kids — Now One's an Engineer, One's a Lawyer, One's an Anesthesiologist
I’m a mother of three. Before I came to Bodhi Meditation, I was constantly anxious and worried about my children.
Then one day, I suddenly experienced severe bleeding and was rushed to the hospital. Tests revealed a 12-centimeter uterine fibroid. My doctor told me it was very serious and that I might need to have my uterus removed.
I was devastated.
A friend introduced me to Bodhi Meditation Silicon Valley, where I joined the 8-Day Health & Happiness Retreat and began practicing Greater Illumination Meditation.
I practiced three to four hours every day. Two months later, I went back for a checkup, and my doctor was surprised—the fibroid had shrunk from 12 centimeters to 9.
That gave me so much hope. I continued practicing four to five hours a day and returned for regular checkups. The fibroid continued to get smaller. About a year later, my doctor told me they could no longer find it.
I was overjoyed. Even my doctor was amazed.
But the biggest change wasn’t only physical. Through meditation, I became calmer and less anxious, and my relationship with my family improved.
Before that, I worried constantly about my children. My oldest son stayed up late playing video games in college. My daughter couldn’t decide on a major, and I pushed her toward computer science because I was afraid she wouldn’t have a good future. My youngest was playful and didn’t like studying. The more I worried, the more I tried to control them—and the more stressed our family became.
After listening to Grandmaster JinBodhi’s teachings, I began offering lights for my children, especially before important exams or major moments in their lives. Over time, I watched each of them find their own path.
My oldest son is now a computer engineer with a stable career. My daughter became an attorney, and her husband is also an attorney.
I offered the most lights for my youngest son because I worried about him the most. He eventually studied nursing and worked in the ICU during the COVID pandemic. During that time, I offered a year-long light for his health and safety.
Later, when he decided to pursue a career in anesthesia, I offered another year-long light for him. He was accepted into his program, completed his training, and now has the career he hoped for. He also met a wonderful girlfriend who works in the same field.
Today, all three of my children are independent and doing well, and our family is happy and close. I’m healthy, peaceful, and grateful that I can continue volunteering at the meditation center.
Looking back, I feel deeply grateful to Grandmaster JinBodhi. My experience has taught me to practice sincerely, to have faith, and to offer my prayers with a genuine heart.
Whether you offer a large light or a small one isn’t what matters most. What matters is the sincerity behind it.
I’m truly grateful for everything I’ve received along this journey.
2. Manton: A Corporate Executive Finally Sleeps Again
In 2006, I became a department manager, overseeing some of the company's most critical engineering operations. The responsibility was enormous. Every project had to stay on track, and I was constantly looking for ways to maximize profitability.
I spent about 10 hours a day working under intense pressure, then attended late-night meetings with teams in Asia. This went on for 5 or 6 years.
The relentless workload and constant stress eventually took a serious toll on my health. I developed insomnia, anxiety, panic attacks, heart palpitations, stomach pain, back pain, and high blood pressure.
By June 2012, my insomnia had become much worse. I went from sleeping four hours a night to just two, and eventually reached a point where I couldn't sleep at all.
The lack of sleep only made my anxiety worse. One day, my heart started racing so fast that I thought I was having a heart attack. I rushed to the emergency room, but doctors found nothing wrong with my heart. They diagnosed me with anxiety-related panic attacks.
Unfortunately, my symptoms continued.
Without proper sleep and under constant mental strain, I could barely think clearly. I struggled to keep up with my workload and had difficulty presenting reports to senior management.
I began making mistakes at work. I normally had to respond to more than 50 emails a day, but I could no longer concentrate enough to read them properly.
I started questioning whether I was capable of doing my job and became terrified of losing it. That fear only fueled my anxiety.
I frequently took time off to see doctors. Western medicine practitioners attributed my symptoms to severe anxiety, while traditional Chinese medicine practitioners diagnosed me with chronic nervous exhaustion.
I tried sleeping pills, acupuncture, and Chinese herbal medicine, but nothing seemed to make a significant difference. My health continued to decline, and I felt increasingly hopeless.
A Turning Point: Discovering Bodhi Meditation
In August 2014, just when I was beginning to lose hope, I came across a newspaper article about the health benefits of Bodhi Meditation.
With nothing to lose, I decided to give it a try and signed up for an eight-day Health & Happiness Retreat.
What happened next was incredible!
During the retreat, after an Energy Healing session, the stomach pain that had troubled me for nearly two years suddenly disappeared.
Even more surprisingly, I began sleeping again, without the help of medication. Although my sleep was still interrupted, it was a huge improvement from being unable to sleep at all.
For the first time in a long while, I felt hopeful.
After the retreat, I committed to practicing meditation for two hours every day.
The improvements came gradually but steadily:
- After one month: I could sleep for two to three hours at a time.
- After three months: I was sleeping more than four hours a night.
- After six months: I could enjoy six hours of uninterrupted sleep.
- After one year: All my health indicators had returned to normal, and I felt even stronger and more energetic than before I became ill.
I was incredibly grateful!
From Constant Anxiety to Confidence at Work
The changes went far beyond my physical health.
Before meditation, whenever I faced a difficult problem at work, I would become anxious and overwhelmed. After developing a regular meditation practice, I found myself approaching challenges with greater confidence, clarity, and composure.
Tasks that once left me feeling rushed and stressed, such as preparing project plans, became much easier to manage. I could think more clearly and handle problems more effectively.
My coworkers noticed the difference.
They jokingly asked what miracle medicine I had been taking because I looked so energetic and seemed sharper than ever.
I told them, "My miracle medicine is Bodhi Meditation!"
An Unexpected Promotion at Age 66
In 2024, at age 66, I was approaching retirement.
I had always assumed that becoming a department manager would be the peak of my career. But to my surprise, I was promoted to Vice President in the middle of that year!
It was certainly something to celebrate. However, the new position came with greater responsibilities and even more pressure.
Before long, I noticed familiar feelings of anxiety returning, along with some of my old sleep difficulties.
I knew I needed to find a way to balance my career responsibilities with my health and well-being.
That's when I discovered an unexpected way to relieve stress: volunteering at the Bodhi Meditation Center.
Finding Peace and Joy Through Volunteering
In addition to continuing my daily meditation practice, I began volunteering regularly at the center.
The hands-on work gave me a welcome break from the constant mental demands of my corporate job. Whether I was moving supplies, cleaning, or organizing the space, I found that physical activity helped me relax and even improved my physical stamina.
As I worked, my mind gradually became quieter, and I felt more at ease.
More importantly, I discovered genuine happiness in helping others.
The joy I experienced through volunteering helped me sleep even better, and my anxiety nearly disappeared.
Back at work, I found myself approaching challenges with greater calm, clarity, and insight. I could handle complex situations more effectively and make decisions with greater confidence.
I even helped resolve several major problems that had been threatening the company's stability.
Through this experience, I came to appreciate once again the joy of helping others and the remarkable benefits I had experienced through Bodhi Meditation.
A New Sense of Balance and Inner Peace
I am deeply grateful to Grandmaster JinBodhi for sharing these meditation practices.
They have not only helped me regain control of my health and my life, but also taught me something invaluable:
Through serving others, I have found a deeper sense of balance, joy, and inner peace.
3. Henry: From Gout and Dialysis to a New Lease on Life
Hello, Grandmaster. My name is Hanming Huang, and I'm 70 years old.
I started running my own business before I turned 20. Back then, entertaining clients and socializing were part of my everyday life. I frequently went out to restaurants with friends, enjoying all kinds of seafood, meat, and alcohol. I loved good food and drinks so much that I sometimes ate four or five meals a day. At the time, I thoroughly enjoyed that lifestyle.
By age 35, I began experiencing symptoms of gout. Once, while dining at a restaurant, I had barely eaten a few oysters when I suddenly felt excruciating pain in my toes and heels. Even so, I insisted on finishing my meal. By the time I left, the pain was so severe that I had to hop out of the restaurant on one foot.
Over time, the pain and swelling spread from my toes and heels to my shoulders, elbows, and finger joints. The pain grew increasingly intense, as though it were coming from deep inside my bones. At night, I had to elevate my legs just to get a little relief. Around the same time, I noticed that my urine was unusually foamy, with bubbles that wouldn't easily disappear. I later learned that this could be a sign of impaired kidney filtration and protein leaking into the urine. My gout attacks also became more frequent. What started as one or two episodes a year eventually became something that could flare up whenever I ate the wrong foods. I tried medication, but it only provided temporary relief from the pain and swelling. I was also concerned about the effects of long-term medication on my stomach and kidneys.
At age 48, both of my kidneys eventually failed. As my kidney function continued to deteriorate, I had no choice but to begin dialysis. Every morning, I spent two hours manually performing my dialysis treatment, followed by another ten hours on a dialysis machine while I slept at night. The process was exhausting and complicated. I often felt dizzy and had to be extremely careful to avoid infections. Despite all this, my kidney function showed little improvement, and my doctors eventually recommended a kidney transplant.
After five difficult years on dialysis, I finally received a donor kidney on December 17, 2006, when I was 53 years old. Although the transplant surgery was successful, just one week later, a medical report delivered another devastating blow. My blood creatinine level was 2.46 mg/dL, well above the male reference range of 0.8–1.2 mg/dL provided by my doctors at the time. Further testing suggested that my transplanted kidney was still showing signs of declining function. Based on my condition, the doctors estimated that the new kidney might last only another two years. To make matters worse, a kidney transplant could not eliminate my gout. My uric acid level was 11.5 mg/dL, also significantly above the normal range.
I was terrified by the news and began searching for anything that might help protect my transplanted kidney and extend its lifespan. A nutritionist advised me to follow a strict diet, maintain a regular daily routine, and exercise consistently. I followed the medical advice carefully, weighing my food and checking its nutritional content at every meal. Sometimes, I was so restricted in what I could eat that I went hungry. After a year of this disciplined routine, my test results finally showed some improvement. My creatinine level dropped from 2.46 mg/dL to 2 mg/dL, and my uric acid level also decreased, although both remained above the normal range.
For the next ten years, I continued following a highly restricted diet and exercising regularly, doing everything I could to protect my kidney. Although my test results never fully returned to normal, I managed to keep them relatively stable. Still, I was constantly afraid that the numbers would rise again. I lived with that worry and uncertainty every single day.
By 2016, my weakened kidney function and inadequate nutrition had left me physically exhausted. I was constantly cold and tired. Even light work drained my energy, and I could barely walk for long before needing to rest. My feet and face were often swollen, my complexion was yellowish, and I looked visibly unwell. Years of illness had also taken an emotional toll. I felt discouraged and had lost confidence in both my health and my future.
In late March 2016, a friend introduced me to Bodhi Meditation. After hearing how others had benefited from it, I decided to give it a try. On April 1, I began practicing Energy Bagua. From that day forward, I arrived at the meditation center at 5:30 every morning to practice, rain or shine. I also began practicing Prostration and The Meditation of Greater Illumination.
Three months later, I had another blood test, and the results were beyond anything I had expected. My creatinine level had dropped from 2 to 1.37 mg/dL, bringing it much closer to the normal reference range. My uric acid level had also returned to the normal range. This was the kind of improvement I had dreamed of for ten years. Seeing such encouraging results in just three months felt almost unbelievable and gave me renewed hope for my health. Inspired by this progress, I became even more dedicated to meditation, practicing around five hours a day. My routine included Energy Bagua, Prostration, and The Meditation of Greater Illumination. I practiced for three to four hours before work and returned to the meditation center for another two hours afterward. I kept up this routine for several months without missing a day.
Early the following year, another blood test showed that my creatinine level had dropped further to 1.26 mg/dL, very close to the normal reference range. My uric acid level was down to 6 mg/dL, comfortably within the normal range. In just over eight months since beginning Bodhi Meditation, my kidney-related test results had improved significantly, reaching levels I hadn't seen in many years. Even my doctors were surprised by the results.
Looking back on the decades I spent struggling with illness, I sometimes wonder how different my life might have been if I had discovered Bodhi Meditation earlier. More than seven years have now passed since I first started practicing, and Bodhi Meditation and Energy Bagua have become essential parts of my daily life. Today, I maintain a normal, balanced diet and a regular routine without constantly worrying about my medical test results. I've gradually regained my strength. I no longer feel unusually cold or tire easily, and I still have plenty of energy even after a full day's work. My mind feels clearer, my hands and feet are more agile, and I have a healthier complexion. I've also become more patient and easygoing. I genuinely enjoy helping others and volunteer at the meditation center whenever I'm needed. Although I'm now 70 years old, I feel healthier and happier than I did in my 30s.
I recently had another comprehensive medical checkup, and all my test results were within normal ranges. Both my kidney specialist and my primary care physician were once again surprised by the results and my overall condition. The transplanted kidney that doctors once estimated might last only two years has now served me for 18 years. The kidney function indicators that once caused so much concern have also improved remarkably. My doctors have found my progress extraordinary.
Looking back on this journey, I deeply appreciate the changes I've experienced since discovering Bodhi Meditation. I am sincerely grateful to Grandmaster JinBodhi for sharing these meditation practices. They have helped me regain a sense of health and vitality that I thought I had lost, along with renewed confidence and hope for the future.
My heartfelt wish is that others who have struggled with serious illness, as I have, will also find ways to support their physical and emotional well-being. I hope that, while continuing to receive the medical care they need, they can rediscover their strength, happiness, and hope for a better life.Thank you, Grandmaster!
4. Lily: Recovery Against All Odds
In June, I received a message from my sister in Canada. My mom had suffered a severe stroke. She collapsed and had to be rushed to the hospital for surgery. The surgery was successful. However, Mom didn't regain consciousness.
On June 15th, the situation seemed grim. The doctors examined her again and informed my sister that they had done everything they could. Due to the severity of the stroke, there was little more they could do. They advised our family to keep her comfortable and prepare ourselves for the possibility that she might remain in this condition for the rest of her life.
I was devastated and didn't know what to do. I immediately offered a year-long light for Mom at the meditation center. The next day, our chanting group came together to pray for her recovery. My husband joined the group chanting and continued chanting on his own throughout the day.
The very next morning, on June 18th, a miracle happened. I received a message from my sister saying that Mom was not only awake and alert but also sitting up in bed and even trying to hold a paintbrush. The moment I saw her pictures, I was so overjoyed that I jumped out of bed.
Just a few days later, she was already practicing walking with the help of a physical therapist. Even the doctors were surprised and amazed. It truly felt like a miracle. I'm so grateful.
This experience showed our family the profound impact of offering lights, sincere prayers, and chanting from the heart. It reminded us how deeply supported we feel through the compassionate blessings of the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Grandmaster JinBodhi.
Thank you so much, Grandmaster JinBodhi. Thank you to our chanting community for standing beside us during this difficult time, and to everyone who kept our mom in their prayers.
5.Manjusha: Daughter’s Surgery Averted
In March 2025, an endodontist discovered what appeared to be a large cyst behind one of my 14-year-old daughter's teeth while she was preparing to have her braces removed. The oral surgeon recommended immediate surgery, warning that the cyst could cause serious harm if it continued to grow. However, the surgery carried the risk of permanent, irreversible numbness in her upper palate. The news came as a complete shock. Desperate for help, I explored every possible option, including consulting a traditional Indian medicine practitioner who suggested herbal treatment, but nothing gave me peace of mind. Meanwhile, the surgeon continued urging us not to delay the procedure, fearing that her condition might worsen. I felt trapped, physically and emotionally exhausted, and completely overwhelmed. I simply didn't know what to do.
Feeling helpless, I went to the Bodhi Meditation Center in tears to seek guidance through an oracle reading. My first question was, "Should I give my daughter the herbal medicine?" The answer was no. My second question was, "Should I proceed with her surgery now?" To my surprise, the answer was also no. Confused, I turned to a teacher at the center for advice. She shared stories of practitioners who had overcome serious challenges through acts of generosity and merit-making. She also told me about her own experience of making offerings, sponsoring Buddha statues, and offering blessing lights to help overcome obstacles and pray for her son's safety and well-being. Without hesitation, I sponsored a permanent Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva statue on behalf of my daughter's karmic creditors and offered a 49-day blessing light for her.
Just a few days later, I received a call offering an appointment with a highly experienced oral specialist whom I had previously been unable to see. After reviewing the scans, he said, "This doesn't really look like a cyst. Let me send the scans to a radiologist for confirmation." During the week of waiting, I prayed sincerely every single day. A week later, the radiologist's report also indicated that the area did not appear to be a cyst. The specialist recommended another scan in nine months to confirm the findings. At that moment, the enormous weight I had been carrying finally began to lift, and for the first time, I felt hopeful.
I returned to the Bodhi Meditation Center to share the good news with the teacher. She told me, "It is your faith and the merits you have accumulated that have allowed your daughter to receive the blessings and protection of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Your daughter will be fine." A few months later, when I traveled to India with my daughter, several senior doctors there still believed it was a cyst and recommended immediate surgery. But this time, I was no longer frightened or shaken. I firmly believed that the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas would protect my daughter.
Then, in April 2026, at her follow-up scan, we learned that the cavity was exactly the same size as it had been a year earlier. Both the oral specialist and the radiologist found this very reassuring and felt it further supported their assessment that it was not a cyst. My daughter did not need surgery, and everything appeared normal. The tremendous relief I felt is difficult to put into words.
My heart is filled with gratitude that my daughter was spared a potentially life-changing surgery. Throughout this experience, I prayed sincerely every single day. I am deeply grateful for the blessings and protection of Grandmaster JinBodhi and the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.
6.Santhosh: Apnea Relief & 23lbs Lost
I have sleep apnea, which is a pretty serious condition. As a result, throughout my childhood, I accumulated a lot of sleep debt and struggled with excessive daytime sleepiness. I slept my way through school, and it affected my social life, my ability to participate in sports, and many other aspects of my life. Somehow, I managed to get through my career by drinking a lot of coffee, but that wasn't a sustainable solution. Over the decades, I tried many different things to improve my sleep apnea. Some helped a little, but most of the improvements were temporary.
Fortunately, about eight months ago, I had the opportunity to attend the 8-Day Health & Happiness Retreat at Bodhi Meditation Center in Silicon Valley. It was a life-changing experience. By the third or fourth day, I was already feeling uplifted. The trees seemed greener, the sky looked bluer, and I felt a renewed sense of energy and enthusiasm for life. Because of my sleep condition, I track my sleep very carefully using an Apple Watch and an Oura Ring. By the end of the eight-day retreat, I noticed that my sleep score had increased from around 70–72 to 86. That was more than a two-standard-deviation improvement in my sleep quality in just eight days. I had also lost eight pounds, which felt truly miraculous to me. Even my neurologist, a highly respected sleep specialist in the Bay Area, was impressed and surprised by the transformation.
I felt deeply drawn to Grandmaster JinBodhi, the teachings of Bodhi Meditation, and the compassion of everyone at the meditation center. I continued practicing Energy Bagua for at least 30 minutes every day over the following three to six months.
By the end of six months, my sleep quality had improved even further. I had reached a point where I felt I might be able to stop using my CPAP mask permanently. I had also lost another 15 pounds. I felt so much more energetic and joyful in my everyday life.
I feel incredibly blessed to have experienced Grandmaster JinBodhi's compassion. I'm sharing my story out of deep gratitude for all his teachings and for the positive changes I've experienced in my life.
7. Core: How Bodhi Meditation Changed My Life for the Better
I first discovered Bodhi Meditation in 2018 and began attending classes in 2019. Over the past seven years, I've experienced so many positive changes in my life—from my physical health and emotional well-being to my career, relationships, and personal growth. I feel incredibly grateful for this journey.
After years of working at a desk, I used to struggle with frequent neck and back pain, along with weakness in my knees. As I continued practicing Bodhi Meditation, the pain gradually faded, and my knees became stronger. I also used to be extremely sensitive to cold weather, often needing to bundle up in multiple layers during winter. These days, I can comfortably wear at least three fewer layers! My stamina and endurance have improved as well, and I feel so much lighter and more energetic.
My professional life has been just as rewarding. Between 2019, when I began practicing Bodhi Meditation regularly, and my retirement in 2025, I received three promotions, advancing from Senior Engineer to Senior Principal Engineer, with steady increases in compensation along the way. I also founded and grew a TechWomen mentoring community within my company, encouraging more colleagues to support and mentor women in technology around the world. In 2022, I was honored to receive the Women of Influence award from the Silicon Valley Business Journal. I was also selected three times to join international TechWomen mentoring delegations, traveling to Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Morocco to exchange ideas, share experiences, and help women in technology grow professionally. Looking back, I feel incredibly fortunate. I believe the positive energy, calm mindset, and wisdom I've gained through meditation have helped me navigate challenges and make the most of these opportunities.
Even the little things in life have brought unexpected surprises! I hardly ever won anything in raffles before, but over the years, I've won six prizes through Grandmaster JinBodhi's online events. Each one was such a fun surprise! While these may seem like small things, they've added to my sense of gratitude and made me appreciate the many blessings in everyday life.
More meaningful than any outward achievement, however, has been the change within me. I used to feel overwhelmed by work-related stress and would easily get upset when things didn't go my way. Through Bodhi Meditation, I've learned to approach life's challenges with greater patience, compassion, and gratitude. Grandmaster JinBodhi's teachings on kind thoughts, kind words, and kind actions have become guiding principles in my daily life. I've learned to be more understanding and caring toward others, reflect on my own behavior, and let go of things I cannot control. I've also grown to appreciate my family more deeply, show greater care and respect for my parents, and value all living beings.
In 2025, I retired after a 24-year career with my company. Retirement has given me more time to deepen my meditation practice, volunteer, continue my involvement with TechWomen's international mentoring programs, and give back to my community. Earlier in life, I focused heavily on professional success. Today, I understand that true happiness goes beyond personal health, achievement, or comfort. It also comes from being able to help others find greater well-being, happiness, and hope. For me, retirement isn't the end of the road. It's the beginning of another exciting and meaningful chapter.
When I reflect on these past seven years, I feel truly blessed. From my health and career to my personal growth and sense of purpose, my life has changed in ways I never could have imagined. I'm deeply grateful to Grandmaster JinBodhi for his compassionate teachings. As I continue this journey, I hope to live by his principles of kind thoughts, kind words, and kind actions, approaching each day with gratitude, compassion, and joy. Most of all, I hope to share these positive experiences with others. Thank you, Grandmaster JinBodhi, and thank you, Bodhi Meditation!
8.Kate: My Anxiety Was Relieved
I'm a retired social scientist with a PhD. Why light offering works was honestly something I couldn't figure out. But from my experiences I found that it does work, so I stopped trying to figure out why.
Light offering has helped with my anxiety. I've had anxiety disorder for 5 years. (When it flares up) it shows up as intense anxiety right before I go to bed at night. I have to pace back and forth in the room nonstop, sometimes even running back and forth. I'd struggle like that for one to three hours, wearing myself out before I could finally fall asleep. I felt like I wasn't even afraid of dying with this mental suffering. But I didn't know what to do.
Then one day it suddenly occurred to me: maybe offering a light would help. I lit the Medicine Buddha Wish-Fulfillment Light for 49 days. The night I lit the lamp, I was still pacing around the house, but it felt as light and easy as strolling leisurely in a park, very enjoyable. I thought, this is amazing!
After that, the anxiety still flared up sometimes, but less often. Then I offered 3 lights in a row. By the third light, I went a full month without any anxiety attacks. When the third light's 49 days were up, the anxiety came back a little. At that point I wondered if it was my karmic creditors causing trouble. So I offered light for my karmic creditors. And again, the anxiety attack frequency dropped. In the end, the frequency of my attacks were less than half compared to before. And the intensity of the attacks also dropped a lot, to only about half of what it used to be.
Recently I discovered that the dharma items help too. Like this glazed crystal pendant I'm wearing, when I cup it in both hands like this, within five minutes my anxiety completely disappears. I really can't believe it has this kind of effect. I've tried five or six times now, and lately I've started carrying it as a talisman. It works every single time. It's that amazing.
So at this point, I can honestly say my anxiety problem is essentially fully resolved, because I have this talisman. When anxiety starts to rise, I just cup it in my hands, and after five minutes it's gone. So I no longer worry about anxiety attacks.
9. Peter: Opportunities Still Await Hired After 60+
After being laid off, I decided to take some time off to relax and recharge. During that time, I came to Bodhi Meditation, spent more time practicing, and got more involved in volunteer work.
After the class, my wife said, "Well, it's time for you to find a job."
I thought to myself, "I'm over 60, with gray hair. Who's going to hire someone my age, even with all my experience and expertise?" Finding a job in Silicon Valley's competitive tech industry is especially tough at my age.
So I offered a 49-day light and started applying for jobs. I had a few interviews, but nothing seemed like the right fit.
Then, on the 49th day of my light offering, I came across a company looking for someone with exactly my expertise. I sent in my resume, and just a few days later, I got a call back. After interviewing with the director and vice president, I got the job!
To me, it was nothing short of a miracle. At over 60, I had landed a position in the high-tech industry, doing the kind of work I'd spent years building my expertise in.
When I received my first paycheck, I offered another 49-day light as a way of expressing my gratitude.
I've experienced some amazing things along the way, even through difficult times. This experience strengthened my belief in the power of light offering, and I'm truly grateful for how everything turned out.
